Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve
Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. Drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at the viewpoint before continuing to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at Mara Sopa Lodge in time for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, enjoy your first exciting game drive in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and other wildlife before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Full Day in Maasai Mara
Spend the entire day exploring the vast plains of the Maasai Mara on morning and afternoon game drives. Search for the Big Five and many other wildlife species while enjoying spectacular views of the reserve. During the migration season (July–October), you may witness the dramatic wildebeest river crossings at the Mara River. An optional visit to a traditional Maasai Cultural Village can also be arranged.
Day 3: Maasai Mara – Amboseli National Park
After an early breakfast, depart Maasai Mara and travel across Kenya to Amboseli National Park. Enjoy scenic countryside views along the way with a stop for lunch en route. Arrive at Amboseli Sopa Lodge in the evening, check in, relax and enjoy dinner.
Day 4: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
Enjoy a full day of game viewing in Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Explore the park's wetlands, open plains and acacia woodlands while searching for lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, hippos and numerous bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Amboseli – Nairobi
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive (time permitting) before departing Amboseli for Nairobi. Arrive in the afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Kenyan safari.
